Screens:

Mr X was released in approx 2000 screens Pan India.

First Day Box Office Collection of Mr X is just higher than Ek Paheli Leela to be 6th Highest opening day of 2015 behind Roy, Baby. Badlapur ,Tevar and Byomkesh bakshy

However this year has had low openers all through with Fast and Furious 7 having the highest opening of the year ahead of all hindi movies.

The first day collections of Mr X is similar to ek paheli leela 's first day but  the cost of Leela was half of that of Mr X.

Mass areas which used to be strength of emraan hashmi are not working as well these days.

Mumbai and Delhi circuits led the total collections with mass areas dull

Mr 'X' is a 3D movies of  Emraan Hashmi which is produced by Bhatt camp with lot of 3D special effects  which has increased the cost of the movie.

Emraan Hashmi and bhatt camp production is success mantra of box office but all those movies used to be low cost ones.

Mr X was also not marketed correctly as it could have turned out to be a pull for Kids but was not marketed at them.

Opening First day :
 Mr 'X':10- 15% occupancy

Mr 'X' Budget:
39 Crores including prints and advertising

Movie cost including prints and promotion is 39 Crore which is not a easy cost to recover.
