Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez , Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon starrer Housefull 3 released with openings at 35% in morning shows.

Morning Show Opening of Housefull 3 is at similar levels as Baaghi and lower than Fan but higher than Airlift. However Airlift grew through word of mouth in evening.

Some people were expecting 20 Crore opening from housefull 3 but that is not going to happen.

Housefull 3 is coming on first friday after IPL which is considered the 4th best time for releasing a bollywood movie and is a period in which every movie which has come out has been a success in last few years.

However Housefull 3 comes at a time when comedy as a genre is not doing well .

Director of Housefull 3 has a very bad word of mouth due to a rather poor 2014's Entertainment again starring Akshay Kumar.

It is rumored that Eros had offered producer Sajid Nadiadwala a minimum guarantee of 100 Crores for the rights.

Housefull 2 had a production cost of Rs 50 Crores and that cost has only increased with the third installment.

In UAE GCC Housefull opened to 1.2 Million Dirhams or Rs 2.2 Crore on Thursday which is one of the best non eid openings ahead of Bajirao Mastani , Singh is Bliing and Welcome Back.
