Charlie Ke Chakkar Mein is a thriller that loses its grip in the middle but manages to surprise towards the end. The first half is bland, as the crime is unveiled in flashbacks. But post-interval, we’re treated to some interesting twists and turns. With no big Bollywood release this week, Charlie Ke Chakkar Mein can make for a decent watch.

Drugs. Cops. Gangsters. Youngsters. Mix ‘em up, and you get ‘Charlie Ke Chakkar Mein’. Or at least that’s what the film sets out to do. Which, if done effectively, could have been a fun caper. What you get instead is a confused mish-mash of scenes, with characters doing lines, snorting, shooting up, shooting at and so on. And on.

Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein is a missed opportunity. It could have been a much better gripping drama but it settles to become an average one. Watch it if you are a fan of the dark deed films but mostly you can watch it for Naseeruddin Shah.

फिल्म की कहानी अमित सयाल और डायरेक्टर मनीष ने मिलकर लिखी है जिसमें परत दर परत कई ट्विस्ट आते हैं और कहानी की विशेषता है कि हम यह सोचने पर विवश हो जाते हैं की अगले पल क्या होने वाला है. फिल्म इंटरवल से पहले थोड़ी धीमी रहती है लेकिन इंटरवल के बाद अच्छी रफ्तार पकड़ लेती है. फिल्म की शूटिंग मुंबई में ही हुई है और रियल लोकेशंस पर फिल्माई गई कहानी सहज लगती है. तो अगर आप एडल्ट हैं, थ्रिलर फिल्मों के शौकीन हैं और अच्छी एक्टिंग के कायल है, तो यह फिल्म जरूर देखें.
