Aditya and Anushka realise that they are actually in love with each other. The two make a charming pair, but that’s not enough in this mishmash of an indigestible pullav. Rishi Kapoor plays a friendly hotel manager, but it seems like the director was so desperate to have him in the film that he tried to put him in scenes where he was not needed. He himself looks as uncomfortable as someone who’s been force-fed stale pullav for days together. With no distinct taste or flavour, this film makes for a huge disappointment.

Binod Pradhan’s direction relies heavily on the tried and tested style of narration. Of course, the unexciting script is also a handicap he has to contend with in his maiden film as director. On the whole, Wedding Pullav will not find many takers because it is too routine, too predictable and too plastic. Flop.

The film's music (Salim-Sulaiman) is the saving grace and boasts of two hummable songs in the form of 'Party Karni Hai' and 'Oh Jaaniya'. On the other hand, the film's background music (Rohit Kulkarni) leaves no impact on the audiences. The film's cinematography (Gopal Shah) is decent. The film's editing (Sayyed Sameer) is very clumsy and could have been better by leaps and bounds. The film's poor script and screenplay, doubled up with sloppy editing lands up making a 'khichdi' of the dish called 'WEDDING PULLAV'.
Verdict: WEDDING PULLAV is a dish that is best avoided as it is bound to leave a bad taste.

Everything is predictable. These are new faces, and yet everything they do smacks of staleness. Overused themes can be infused with freshness only if the treatment is right: here, all elements are borrowed from older films and used so clunkily as to extinguish all freshness. And Rishi Kapoor, who can be relied upon to save sinking ships, shows up as the resident Love Guru, and is made to play it just like the film: with not one ounce of spark or novelty.
Verdict: The film is more like an overcooked ‘khhichdi’

Wedding Pullav appears to have been made by people high on cheap liquor. They believe that overkill works best. The rest of the world knows it doesn’t.Love triangles click only when the actors in the key roles can make the audience believe that sweet nothings aren’t as vacuous as they sound. The leads of Wedding Pullav do not possess that power. They only make the film’s string of implausible scenes much worse than they already are.
Verdict: Wedding Pullav is badly cooked. Dig into it at your own risk.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and My Best Friend's Wedding revamped, this pulav is probably the most stale wedding dish you'll have ever. The film follows the standard Punjabi wedding film template to the T, then giving it the cliched 'pyaar dosti hai' twist to infuse novelty. The end result is so bland, predictable and juvenile that you'll probably hate the joy of weddings or the concept of love altogether. Wedding Pullav seems like a never-ending wedding video of an acquaintance, you feel nothing for. It's loaded with mandatory party/ wedding songs, honeymoon jokes, friendly banter, mummiji's drama, et al. What the film lacks is heart and scrumptious food!
