Shaandaar Friday Box Office Collection

Shaandaar First Day Box Office Collection
Shaandaar
Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt 's Shaandaar  had a very good start at india box office which is highest opening day ever in the career of Shahid Kapoor and director Vikas Bahl.

First Day :
11 Crore Trade Figure.
13.1 Crore Producer Figure

Records:
1.)  This is the highest ever opening day in Shahid Kapoor's career and is the first time he had gotten a double digit opening  day. His previous highest was  R Rajkumar with Rs 9.47 Crore.

2.)  For Alia Bhatt the opening day is second  highest in her career after 2 states which had collected 12.11 Crore on its opening day

3.) Shaandar is 7th  highest opening day of 2015 behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Singh is Bliing, ABCD 2 , Welcome Back, Brothers and Gabbar is Back.

4.) For Director Vikas Bahl this is his highest ever opening day of his career as his last Queen which was a sleeper hit had collected only 1.75 crore on its opening day.

India:
Opening  day was hit by cricket match and dusshera festivities and came out little lower than expectation.

First day expectation from trade was of at least 15 Crore opening day.

Shandaar had an extraordinary opening in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi an other top cities especially in multiplexes which was second best of year behind Bajrangi Bhaaijaan.

However in mass centers it was a very average opening as Shahid doesn't have that pull in mass areas.

Overall Multiplexes across India were very good and single screens very average.

Cricket match was responsible for around 10% hit in collections but on the other hand having a holiday as an opening day ensured an opening which was at leas t 35% higher than normal.

Shaandar has been made by Phantom which has a very bad reputation in Trade due to the disaster called Bombay velvet

Budget: 68 Crores inclusive of prints and advertising.
Shaandaar had a much higher budget which is around 3 times higher than that of Vikas Bahl's last Queen.

Queen's success had happened because of the low budget but Phantom is a mega budget movie

It needs a distributor share of 38 crore or box office collections of 76 crore to be called a hit
