Rudhramadevi historical film, based on the life of Rudrama Devi one of the prominent rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty in the Deccan Plateau, and one of the few ruling queens in Indian history. The film is being written and directed by Gunasekhar in 3D. The film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil.It is being dubbed in Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam, and features an ensemble cast of Anushka Shetty, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Vikramjeet Virk, Prakash Raj,
Story
"Rudhramadevi" is a historical film, based on the life of Rudrama Devi one of the prominent rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty in the Deccan Plateau.King Ganapathi Devudu (Krishnam Raju) and his wife were expecting a baby soon, People of Kakatiya dynasty expecting a male baby to born so that he can became King and rule the Kingdom. But unfortunately that was a girl child, King keep girl child as a secret and says everyone that male child was born.
They name her as Rudra Devudu. On the other hand, Gona Ganna Reddy (Allu Arjun) is a Robin Hood in that Dynasty, he have some rivalry against Rudrama Devi. The Transformation of Rudra Devudu to Rudrama Devi, How she handled Mahadeva nayakudu and Gona Ganna Reddy is rest of the story. Chalukya Veerabadra (Rana) is Rudramadevi's love interest.
Rudhramadevi Review
Anushka Shetty and Allu Arjun doing the leading pivot role in this film,And as per the review reports Allu Arjun steals the show with his power full performance and body styles excels as Gona Ganna Reddy..just nailed it. Superb response for allu's acting in theatre,and Anushka Shetty seems beautiful and powerful around the scenes ,First half been gives much more historic and story based and some around places filled with love portions of Rudrama Devi vs Chalukya Veerabadra and end of second half run through the war sequences .
When the teaser and trailer were at live we doubted around the VFX works of the film,because we felt poor standard on the graphics ,But when move to the movie it not yet poor at that level,That the film got nice average VFX .There are not much 3D sequences on the film but you can experience the that sequences for sure.
One another plus got for the film is Megastar Chiranjeevi's voice over the opening of the film,On the end of second half battle scene that comes across as average to viewing experience ,That we felt some lack of quality on the portions ,Like Tollywoods recent hit Baahubali in here also we can see some war formation Technics,But on Baahubali they done in class and believable format and when comes to this film we felt that not believable for us.
Ilaiyaraaja done the music for it,but when you looking on the standard of epic class movie it not yet satisfying one,But on other hand Ilaiyaraaja sir done great work on hire.

Verdict : The movie "Rudhramadevi" is a historical film, based on the life of Rudrama Devi ,The film gives better visuals in all level but lacks to surprise and entertain us as film in all manner,We can't expect like Baahubali treat in hire.
