Rajkumar Hirani Opens Up About Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic

It is known that ace director Rajkumar Hirani will be making a biopic on his favourite actor and close friend Sanjay Dutt. Few weeks back the project was confirmed and it was reported that Hirani will helm the film with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. The director opened up about the biopic recently.

He revealed that the film will be full of emotions. He said, "It (biopic) will be a very emotional film and equally funny like most of my films. I like to tell human interest stories and I think Sanjay's is one too".

He added that portraying someone’s life on the big screen is not that simple. He said, "It's really difficult to tell the whole life of a person in less than three hours". He revealed that he met his co-writer Abhijat Joshi for 25 days straight and each they would discuss a new idea and it was hard for them to fit all the ideas and the story in a single script. Reportedly, the film is expected to go on floors next year.
