Overseas:
In UAE Phantom opened on Thursday and collected AED 662,000 or Rs 1.19 Crores across 62 screens.

India:
The opening of Phantom is better than that of Badlapur and Drishyam and is similar to Baby and now with a Rakhi Holiday on Saturday it can hope for a decent weekend

Phantom has opened exactly as per what Trade expected from the movie strong in metros and weak in mass areas.

Phantom has opened poorly in mass circuits of India like Rajasthan,CP, CI, Gujarat and Bihar but the opening is better in bigger cities.

Phantom will struggle in mass circuits of India but has a chance to do better in all metros depending on the word of mouth

Overall Phantom has opened better than Saif Ali Khan's recent movies due to presence of Katrina and good will that director Kabir Khan 's having from Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Phantom Trade Expectation:

Trade has low expectations from Phantom but hope that the movie does better than Saif ali Khan's recent movies as he has been involved in two major debacles Humshakals and Happy Ending which has reduced his star power.

Trade Expects

Fri 7-8 crore

Sat 10 crore (Raksha Bandhan)

Sun 11 crore

Weekend 28-29 crore

Phantom Budget:
Total Budget is 70 Crores
Production Cost: 55 Crore and prints and advertising cost 15 Crore

Phantom was planned three years ago when Saif was a bankable star and satellite market was good and used to give 25 crore for any decent movie now it will have to struggle as it will not get too much from Satelitte rights and will have to depend on  Theatrical avenues to recover its cost.

Saif and Trade is hoping that Kabir Khan may help Phantom pull through which looks tough for now as reviews are also not that good.
