Actress says 11 crore remuneration is justified

After an explosive performance in and as Queen, for which she even won the coveted National Award and a spate of popular entertainment awards, Bollywood hottie Kangana Ranaut is currently the highest paid actress in the country, surpassing the top rated actresses like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.

Recently, Kangana signed a film for a staggering 11 crore pay cheque. While many had their mouths wide open upon hearing Kangana's astronomical pay packet, the actress takes it easy and says the 11 crore remuneration is completely justified. Kangana explains, "I think the kind of roles or films I do it literally takes a year, so, I think it is justified."

While this self made actress took the hard way to earn the respect and establish herself as the highest paid actress in Bollywood over the past one decade, the back to back blockbusters of Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns did all the magic and catapulted her stardom. Kangana's next film, Katti Batti, is set for a September release.
