Samantha in Bollywood

Samantha was once asked why she was not pursuing opportunities in Bollywood unlike her contemporaries down South.

To this, she replied, “Those heroines are going back to their native industry which is Bollywood. But I am in my native industry which is south. So I don’t need to go to Bollywood,” she said.

And because of her decision, she has been ruling the roost down South. But if things go according to plan, then Bollywood audiences might get to see Samantha soon.

Samantha is playing the female lead opposite Dhanush in ‘VIP 2’. This movie is a sequel to the successful ‘VIP’ starring Prabhu Deva, Abbas, Rambha and Simran which released quite a long time ago. The movie was successful in Telugu too.

Now Dhanush is said to be planning for a simultaneous release of ‘VIP 2’ in Hindi also. If that happens, North Indians can get to view the beautiful Samantha on screen.
