Vinutha Lal; the one who became fame through Parankimala; directed by Sennan Pallassery, is trying her luck in films by changing her name.

The actress will be further known as Aswathy, as per the advise of a Kochi based astrologer.

She proclaimed that it will be a luck to change her name starting with letter A, as her nakshatra is Aswathy. She had changed her name early, even before the release of Johny Antony project Bhaiyya Bhaiyya; but got announced officially recently.

She belives in her luck after changing the name, as she is currently engaged in Malayalam movie Chilanerangalil Chilar, directing by Sreenivasan Parameswaran; and is having a Tamil film, directing by Pandiraj, along with a Telugu film lining up.
