Shruti Hassan plays never -seen-before role in Thala 56

There were reports that Thala Ajith will be seen playing the role of a taxi driver in his forthcoming film ‘Thala 56’. However, the latest reports suggest, it is not Ajith, its Shruti Haasan.

Yes! Shruti Haasan will do never seen role in this movie. If the reports are to be believed, she plays the role of a taxi driver in this movie.

Sources close the film unit says that Shruti Haasan liked her role very much and she plays as a taxi driver, who drives in Kolkata. She will also wear a khaki uniform too.

The team of Thala 56 will be travelling to Kolkata for the next schedule soon.  We heard that Lakshmi Menon plays the role of an IT software engineer. The producer of Thala 56, AM Rathnam confirmed that Thala 56 will be released on Diwali, 2015.
