Produced by Anwar Rasheed, Premam is all about love; with all elements for  a typical movie lover, portrayed in an entirely different way.
The film tells the story of an youngster George (Nivin Pauly); who fall in love with a typical village girl Mary (Anupama Paramshwaran) he meets in church; which develops and continues through different stages of life.
Premam Review
Coming to cast, Nivin Pauly just stole the audience heart with his elegant way to portray a typical village character, George; seen in our neighbourhood. He stands as the best option for the role; as the director selected him wisely.
Anupama Paramshwaran; who portray Mary; the lady lead, just broke down the limitations of a new face; as she mould the character just as the film deserves.
Sai Pallavi and Madonna; who portrayed important roles in the movie (Selin and Malar); made appreciative performances in the film.
Alphonse Puthren has also came with a character in the movie; which looks great, proving that an actor was hidden in the director. Roles handled by Maniyanpilla Raju, Krishna Shankar, Shabareesh Varma, director Jude Anthany Joseph etc supported the film well.

Alphonse Puthren, the director and scenarist of the movie; proves worthy for his two year release gap for his second movie; as Premam stands as a clean entertainer from the beginning to its end.
Though not much in common faces, the casting by the director marked his excellence; as each and every faces proved to be apt for the role.
Apart from direction and script; Alphonse Puthren handled the editing and stunts of the movie with such a perfection, that he can be described as a versatile genius.
