Shyamaprasad directed Ivide is an emotional crime drama with Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly and Bhavana in lead roles.

Ivide Review

The film deals with the stress and struggles faced by the lead characters; including a police officer, IT professional and a girl in between them.

Varun Blake (Prithviraj); an Indian by origin, who is born in India and brought up in USA; is now a police officer at Atlanta. He is assigned to investigate a serial murder case; which IT professionals are the victims.

As the investigation progress Krish Hebbar; an IT professional and his love interest Roshni Mathews (Bhavana) enters into the plot.

Roshni Mathews; a Syrian Christian US settled women; who lives with her daughter, is also the ex wife of Varun.

Rest of the film deals with the progressing investigation and the frustrations and emotions of the characters.

Prithviraj; one of the lead, who portray Varun Blake, has done an excellent job; as the character, who holds certain emotions and frustrations than any other, was handled with delicate care.

Nivin Pauly also done his part well with Krish Hebbar; a man who gets involves into a crime issue suddenly; where his love interest is the ex-wife to investigating officer.

Bhavana has done an excellent work with Roshni Mathews; as a character with ‘handle with care’ caption has been executed wonderfully.

Supportive roles by Prakash Bare, Jia Patel, Deepthi Nair, Haridev, Sunil Veettil, Shaun Xavier, etc were also good.

Ivide Review

Shyamprasad; the three time national award winning director has came forward with an entirely different story; which holds certain elements of anxiety in the minds of audience. As a director, Shyamaprasad has done his part well. The film keeps the standard of a Hollywood movie; hats off to the director.

Script by Ajay Venugopalan stands as the exciting factor of the movie; while cinematography by Dickinson and editing by Manoj kept its standards.

The music handled by Gopi Sunder looks great along with the two songs sung by him and Prithviraj.

In short; Ivide stands as a watchable movie; with a Hollywood standard technical part, consisting a good story, which concentrate in the emotions by the leads along with the ongoing investigation.
