Ek Paheli Leela & Dharam Sankat Mein 7th Day Collection – First Week Business Report

Ek Paheli Leela First Week Box Office Collection

Ek Paheli Leela dropped slightly after having a decent Monday and Tuesday. The film collected 1.90 crores on its first Wednesday at the Box Offoce. This Sunny Leone starrer now stands with a total collection of Rs 22.39 crores at domestic box office. The film was made on a small budget of 15 crores and has now recovered its cost. Since the film’s music was also a hit, it helped the film work well in the single screens. Also thanks to Sunny Leone’s huge fan following, the film was well received in rural circuits too. Ek Paheli Leela hit the silver screens last Friday and within five days, the film has done decent business. In Ek Paheli Leela, even though Sunny doesn’t get full marks, we do appreciate the fact that the Indo-Canadian actress has put in efforts to brush up her acting skills. Although Sunny hogs the limelight, Rajneish Duggal, Rahul Dev, Jay Bhanushali and Mohit Ahlawat have also done a decent job. And yes, the twist in the climax will leave you shocked. The film collected Rs.1.72 crores on its first Thursday. The Sunny Leone starrer now stands with a total collection of Rs.24.28 crores at the domestic box office. Ek Paheli Leela is performing best amongst the new releases.

Dharam Sankat Mein First Week Box Office Collection
Dharam Sankat Mein is a social satire starring veteran actors like Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah in lead roles. Directed by Fuwad Khan, the film started off on a low note. Dharam Sankat Mein, didn’t score much. The reviews were decent to above average and the word of mouth was far from being the kind that would have brought the film into the ‘must watch’ category. At certain centers the film was collecting decent numbers but overall the awareness quotient still remained low. Moreover, the content too wasn’t the kind that would have necessitated huge escalation over the weekdays. As a result, the first week billing stood at a little under Rs 8 crore and the way it is going, just about Rs 10 crore could well be the final total on the cards.
