Vivek tried to bring is some laughs.
Performance:
Thala Ajith’s performance was one his best in recent times, his character is designed with lot of emotions and he enacted them with perfection, he showed lot of variations in his body language and expressions during the course of the film and of course his screen presence is no less than terrific.
Trisha is like a normal GVM”s woman, she had a limited role and she fits in to her role Anushka though looked odd in the film but was okay, Arun Vijay adds weight to the film with his performances, rest had very little screen time and were fine with acting.
Plus Points:
- Ajith & Arun Vijay’s Performance
- Second half
- Cinematography
- Dialogues
Minus Points:
- Slow narration
- Editing
- First half
- Songs Placement
Analysis:
The First Half of the movie is Stylish and Thrilling with super interval Block. Second half is slow compared to the first half. But the final 30 minutes will be feast for fans.Screenplay is not racy as the first half but slow screenplay in the second half may be the negative for the film. Songs placements of few is not good, boring scenes with Anushka. Gautam Menon Class Act and romantic touch are some plus points. Arjun Vijay’s Performance is Top Notch. The BGM composed by Harris Jayaraj shows the depth of the scenes. Finally Yennai Arindhaal is neat and cool entertainer for sure. Do watch it without any expectations and you won’t get disappointed.
Verdict: Yennai Arindhaal is a typical GVM mark stylish cop story but Ajith makes the difference, GVM marks his comeback strongly.
