Vijay Sethupathi’s next release will be Vanmam directed by Jai Krishna. It features Vijay Sethupathi, Kreshna and Sunaina in the lead roles with music by SS Thaman. The film is a rural tale about the life of two friends who have a bitter fall out.
Vanmam produced by Hitesh Jhabak has been censored with an UA certificate. The makers wanted a U certificate and censors said they would remove three scenes. But director Jai Krishnan refused and said he will go with the UA certificate, as the cuts will effect the storyline.
A lot is riding on Vanmam for Vijay Sethupathi, as he needs a hit badly. His last two films have not done well at the box-office. Vanmam will be releasing on November 21.
