Written and directed by Viswan; Appavum Veenjum is a romantic musical suspense thriller; with Sunny Wayne, Ramya Krishnan, Prathap Pothan and Reshma Rathore in leads.
The film is a journey through the minds of the lead characters; whom posses certain mysteries of their own.
Fernandez (Prathap Pothan) is a man of mystery; an unpredicted one; who lives with his wife Merlin (Ramya Krishnan). Jude (Sunny Wayne), a bar musician enters between them; which causes a dramatic change in each one’s life.
Sunny Wayne, the lead in the movie; has delivered a good performance along with a character, which holds many performing moments.
Prathap Pothan, the veteran actor; delivered a great performance in the film; along with one of the best roles in his career. The performance by the actor was splendid; as a replacement for the role can’t be imagined.
Ramya Krishnan has made a great comeback; as she portrays a wife role; which struggles for her existence with her husband.
Reshma Rathore, the yet another female lead also done her part well.
Viswan; the director, who also handled the role of a script writer; has done a good job with the film; as the mysterious mind is a difficult task to execute.
He was able to reach the story in its depth to the audience mind; which holds certain mysterious behaviour in many circumstances.
The cinematography by Venugopal captured the scenic beauty of Ooty and its cold weather along with the story with the help of perfect editing by B Lenin.
Ouseppachan’s music along with Rafeeq Ahammed’s lyrics stands as a boost factor in the movie; as music stands as one of the main features in the film.
