Actress Shikha Joshi found dead in her flat

Shikha Joshi, a small-time actress, was found in the bathroom with her throat slit and she was declared dead by the doctors after reaching the hospital.

Police say, It might be a case of suicide as Shikha Joshi was unable to find work for sometime now. Earlier, She used to stay at Malad. It was only recently she was living with her friend Madhu Bharati and her husband in New Mhada colony, Lokhandwala.

The Victim's Friend informs, "Shikha Joshi locked herself in the bathroom after consuming alcohol at around 7 pm. After some time, I knocked the door and she opened but her throat was slit. A kitchen knife was lying on the floor".

Although the prima facie hints it's a suicide, Cutting one's own throat is very unusual way of ending life. As a result, Cops weren't completely ruling out chances of murder.
