The film was not actually expected a big opening; as women centric films carries a chance to collapse in Kollywood box office.

But the opening day; last Friday proved to have a good opening, as the theatres are filled above 80%; later to full support from the audience.

Now the movie is having a good business; as mouth publicity by audience supports a lot; making Jyothika’s comeback after eight years a wonderful moment.

The film is directed by Rosshan Andrrews; who done the same role in original version of the movie; also M-Town hit; How Old Are You; which marked the comeback of Manju Warrier in industry.
