Speaking of historical projects, here's one with an unexpected twist: William Shakespeare'sROMEO AND JULIET will get a 300 re-imagining  sinceSony Pictureshas bought theVERONA script from Neil Widener andGavin James. With VERONAas the famed town in which the star crossed lovers fell in love with each other and died, the movie re-imagines the love story, set in a world similar toZack Snyder's stylized action epic 300. The movie will be produced by Joe Roth who is currently working on THE HUNTSMAN and ALICE IN WONDERLAND II! As you might remember the latest ROMEO AND JULIET movie was two years ago and it was dreadfully uninspired even though it had a stunning cast lead by Douglas Bouth, Damien Lewis, Hailee Steinfeld and Tom Wisdom!
